a workable solution

Roles: Score, Sound Design, Foley, Mix

I was given ample creative freedom on this project, with the caveat of not alluding to the twist at the end of the film. To match the energy of the establishing drone shot, I used sweeping warm synths drowned in reverb to create a smooth yet melancholy feeling with an underlying sense of mystery. I kept the frequency range in the mid to low realm, leaving space for the Foley and forest ambience in the high end.
